Alice sat down on the bleachers, she was wearing black shorts and an grey tank top. Her elbows rested on her knees, and she put her head in her hands. Alice had no clue what to do, she was super bored, and was hoping that someone would come to the field, so she could talk to them.

Chandler walked down to the field wearing a pair of black cheer shorts and black sports bra, over her shoulder hung her pink cheer bag which held her uniform, pom poms and her cheer shoes. Chandler was on her way to cheer practice, well she was on her way to strech for cheer practice that is. See cheer practice started at 6:00 on the football field and it was only 4:00 but Chandler didn't really care. As she passed by the bleachers she saw a girl, about her age, sitting on the bleachers looking rather lonely. Chandler figured that she had a little time to kill before she had to streach so she headed up to the girl.
"Hi, I'm Chandler," she said as she reached the girl.

Alice looked up at the girl who just spoke "Hi, I'm Alice," she said. Alicia looked at the girls cheer bag, "Is the school holding some sort of practice or something?" Alice said and she looked at Chandler.

"Yea, actually there are going to be tryouts a little later today I just felt like coming out here early to streach and run. You interested?" Chandler asked courious and excited of the answer. The truth was that she wasn't sure how many people would show up to tryouts and they needed at least 8 to make a squad and 10 to get into regionals. Cheerleading was her life and she was sure that this year would be her lucky year, she might be voted captain.

Alice thought about trying out for a while "yes, I am interested" Alice said. She had beeen a cheerleader before, and she always thought about trying out again. "Are you the captain?" Alice asked, since the captain usually hosts the tryouts for cheerleading.

"Well, not yet. The old captain wanted me to be captain when she left and her reccomendation counts for a lot of it but there still has to be the team mate vote...which is really the only part I am nervous for really." Chandler looked over Alice, she had the cheerleading figure and she had some what of that cheerleader attitude and......Chandler let her gaze trace down Alice's body..wait..what the hell was she doing? Shaking her head Chandler brought her gaze back up to Alice's face. "That's good, have you ever cheered before?"

"Ahhhh...I see" Alice said with a nod like she understood "what makes you nervous though?" Alice said. Then she watched chandlers gave and Alice shifted in where she was siting. Then when Chandler spoke again Alice replied saying "Yeah I've cheered before."

Chandler noticed Alice shift uncomfortably in her seat and almost immeadiatly Chandler began to blush. Why did she have to make most girls uncomfortable around her? "Well, I guess that since the Captain of the Cheer Squad is so close to me that I can almost feel it I don't want to be so full of myself only to have it snatched away from me like a bug....." Chandler looked down at her hands that were messing around with the end of her cheer shorts. "What position are you thinking about trying out for?"

"Oh i guess thats a good Idea, people always say dont get your hopes up. Which i think is kinda sad really." Alice said. "I'm sure you'll make captain" Alice said with a smile. then she put her hand her chin and thought. "I dunno really" Alice said.

"Thanks," Chandler said smiling at Alice then a thought suddenly appeared in her mind, a thought that had no place in her mind....ever. "God what is wrong with me today?" she muttered to herself as she turned to face away from Alice. Get a grip, Chandler, just think of her as your friend. You can do it, just don't look her over and you'll be fine. Chandler ran her hand threw her hair and turned back around. "Well, you look like a flyer but you could also be a base.....are you stronger then you are flexible and light or are you both?" Chandler was now avoiding eye contact for the time being so instead she was staring straight out into the field were a few kids were running the track.

"welcome" Alice said happilly. then she she heard chandler say something, that made her ask "Are you...okay?" she asked slowly. she heard some mutters but ignored them and when chandler turned back around she listened to her question "I dont know really, I like to think I'm strong, so I might be both, because i am flexible and light." While she was saying that she flexed her arm to make a muscle then poked it and started laughing. She saw chandler gazing at something and so Alice folled her gaze to see what she was staring at. She saw people running the track, only a few maybe four or five kids.

"Yea, I'm fine..just slightly dizzy. It's a pretty hot day out today and I haven't been drinking enough," she replied lamely and she grabbed her near empty water bottle and took a sip from it. "Maybe you could be both, like a base and a back up flyer in case one of us gets hurt or sick or something." Chandler looked at Alice as she flexed and poked her muscle, she began giggling and all the akwardness was gone, finally.
